Didn't realize we had an Ephemera post.I posted this somewhere the other day but will re-post here.A bill from Standart-Simmons Hardware dated November 6th 1911 which makes it just over 100 years old.

Here are 2 that I just picked up. The Case postcard is dated 1954. Not being a Case collector I am not familiar with the salesman's name on it??

The stock is dated 1918 from Geneva Cutlery.

A present from my son. Now how cool is that! I mean this thing is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it. What great son I have.

I am extremely proud to show off my latest acquisition. This is an original $100 stock certificat for the Eldred Cutlery Company, Eldred Pennsylvania. At this time they were making knives for the Platts Brothers. The awesome toenails we drool over and lots more. This was originally on eBay for $500. I didn't pay that much, but certainly a hefty amount, but think about it, "where you gonna find another one?" These types of things interest the heck out of me and provide good leads for historical research. 1906 man to have been there would have been awesome.

Here's a little Rochester Stamping Company / Robeson Cutlery Company booklet alerting customers to the planned presence of company representatives at the "Hardware Convention" to take place February 14th, 15th, 16th & 17th, 1922, in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The front of the booklet is signed, "J. R. Underwood", although it might be "J.K.."

The booklet measures 3" x 6".

It has multiple pages for filling in needed orders, name & address pages, etc.

I suspect Hardware Conventions were a big deal at the time.
