The name... Hmmm... I'm not sure, but it looks like one of the species we call ridderspore, one of the Delphinium species..?
Definitely not sure!

Here are a few shots around our garden yard.

One of the patio tomato's.
The under side of my grape arbor, white & red seedless Concord grapes.
The backside of the grape arbor.
One of the garden spaces, mostly squash, beans & rhubarb.
This my Gravenstein apple tree. Quite a few apples on it, but they are hard to see in the leaves.

The rest of the pics are flowers in the yard.

It it nice to see everyone's gardens & flowers from around the country and even from other countries.

That time of year up here, besides the influx of tourists to the Cape (a colorful species in thier own right) the flowers are-a- popping.

We have several of the Hibiscus,not a white,like yours,but they sure ""LITE-UP"" the yard don't they??
Some of the guys,plant those big ol' Sunflowers,and plow them up.come dove season,makes for a good shoot

I used to have a large garden and about 3 acres of landscaped beds and trees and lawns and shrubs, but now i only look after my trees, about 40 ? that i have planted over the last 41 years. There are a lot of elk here from November until end of April so any tree less than about 20 years old needs fencing around it or starving elk will eat it. And during long summer dry spells i deeply water the trees. I can run 4 hoses at the same time without dropping pressure in house so i move these hoses about every 2-12 hours. Takes me about 8-10 days to get them all watered, then i start back with first ones and do it again for as long as the dry spell lasts, usually 2-3 months.
This Spring a friend gave me 2 plants he had started from seed. One turned out to be male and so had a short life. The other did quite well considering my latitude. I have grown much larger plants in the past, but i'm happy with this very attractive plant.

Looks like a left-hand cigarette plant. They grow those across the river in DC too.
