Paul,

I have seen these marked Schrade, Ulster, and N.Y. Knife Co.

As far as I know they all made their own knives for Knox Wollen Co.

If you look closely at each different maker they all have subtle differences ::nod::

I wasn't aware Henckels made a trick knife as well as Imperial.

No I don't know. Copper was typically used for the bails on the British military knives until 1941 when it was replaced by steel. :) s-k
