Matchstrike sounds "'awesome"" !!!!!!____and maybe ""Rat Tail Bolster""??????? with some awesome bone jigging ???? ___ Mike, I got one of your photos,to show off that Carrier Eureka__that's the one I really like !!!!___________________the wait is on !!

Matchstriker main blade but no rattail yet, maybe on the next one. The bolsters will not be plain though.

Here's and update on the knives.

They are to have all steel construction as the first knife did. The handles will be 50 Stag and 50 Rosewood. The spring for the secondary coping blade will come all around to the front, this is a feature on older knives and custom made knives that we just had to have on this knife. Matchstriker long pull on the main blade and we are toying with having a second pull on the main blade at the front.

OK here is the latest scoop on the Eureka knives GEC will be making. If some of you noticed on GEC's website the Rosewood handles and were wonderring why none of the first knives we made had Rosewood handles for sale please go to our website and you will see where they came from and why. The Eureka will have these handles on them and let me tell you I can't wait till they are done. The handles came from the old Cattaraugus factory that my friend and I found there. To have them put on a knife that is marked JBF Champlin for us is BIG. Please let us know what you think of the article and knives that are going to be made with them.

Another update on what the Eureka's will look like. They will be marked JBF Champlin over GALVANIC on the main blade tang and deep etched on the face of the main blade will be GALVANIC. The lettering will be an older type, of course. Galvanic was an early mark used by JBF in about 1882. Stay tuned as we will have one more announcement on what will be in the package with each knife. No wiping cloths this time!!!

I will be posting the next info on the knives in the advertising section. I am not sure if I should have posted info on the GEC specific forum if it's about selling. Please forgive me if thats the case.
