That's too big a load of ebony for one feller to tote around all by himself. I'd be willing to pack one or two of those black beauties..............just to help ya out. ::drool::

This is a wood hand I made from timber off my farm.It sandalwood a very oily timber and they use the sap to make cosmetics.

I am catching up because I was gone with knee surgery.

Nice save of the old Schrade Grant! ::tu:: ::tu::

This is an old Schrade 498 that my boys found on a farm we lived on. The knife was buried in the mud in a creek.
The tang was rusted off at the very end so I used some type of rosewood and made the center & the butt cap of ebony.
This knife sure takes a wicked edge! This is one of the first knives I rehandled.

Isn't that one of the knives Forensic Jim had made back in '08? If so, I think there were only 25 of those made.

It's called Birdseye Maple. They used it on a few different patterns.

Here is an old Flint paring knife I rehandled for my mom.
She liked the knife but years of moisture in the kitchen had the handle split.
I rehandled it with some Osage Orange I got from Jim (coffeecup).
Thanks Jim!

This is a Green River blank that I finished off with Red Heart wood.

This is a Camillus Sharpfinger that I put the handles on. The handles are stabilized cross-grain black palm wood.
