In my case, I don't get out much anymore, so my choices don't go any farther than my table, but if I did get out I would still have a knife with me to do with what you've described. It's all the same thing, on the table, in your pocket, etc., the point is, that having your knife with you brings pleasure and comfort, for wherever you are, or for whatever reasons. This thread is the little brother of the "What are you carrying right now" thread, just more along the lines of indoors as opposed to outdoors! Glad you enjoy the posts, and hope you do continue following it! BTW, that's one gorgeous Beretta Jaguar you have there!

The little SAK is just because I can't bring myself to stick it away in a knife folder.
The RR Peanut is used for misc. cutting tasks.
The yellow SAK is because I just love looking at it.

What is the folder with the black scales and through holes? 
For that matter, what's the yellow handled fixie? Both real nice, love to see more of them! Wow,I had to dig some, the holey knife just says 440 stainless China. I bought 3 knives for 10 bucks, shipped to get the RR barlow, the 2 bottom ones are just fodder. I probably have used the holey knife more in the last year or so than any knife I own. I've opened to many packages, cut wires ,zip ties and clam packs too remember, matter of fact the yeller handle buckshot use to get most of that work but now is semi retired. It's a cheap China flipper that the spring broke and I made it into a fixed blade.

My research shows Beretta to be made in the USA and/or Japan.
The action on mine is silky smooth, no slop with the blade in transition (stays where you leave it if you're in mid-open or close), and a nice, tight frame lock-up. No play or wobble with the blade at all.

Well worth the investment. Wouldn't say hooked but if you can get an automatic for the same money as a manual then why not. They are legal now in Indiana where I live.
