I found this one at a yard sale.Its a handfull of knife . Any body know who made it for the USN?

I think that I remember reading something in a past issue of Knife World that they were made by Camillus.. I have the same knife.. John

My good buddy gave me this knife this weekend . he said his dad gave it to him a long time ago.I told him I couldnt accept it but he insisted.He asked me what I thought it was worth and I told him that you could probably get one on ebay for a few bucks but this one is priceless. Any body know the age of this one. Thanks ,Jason

Thank you fellas,just dumb luck that I got them. The Lile was in the worst shape,years in a sheath gave it the green gunk particularly on the bolster and pins,the green goo actually etched the nickle silver ,I cleaned 'em with Flitz and think I'll stop there. Thankfully the blade wasn't affected. None of the knives appeared to have ever been carried or sharpened.

This is my first post and I thought I would share my find of the day from last Sunday. I went to a local flea market. The first table I visited a man had five nice looking old pocket knives. Some were a little stiff when I tried to open them but all had nice, shiney blades. None of them had mgf markings so, I'm not sure who made them. The seller claimed he had been told the knives were Schatt & Morgan factory "seconds" and because they were "seconds" the company purposely grinded off all trademarks and got rid of the knives. Gentlemen, wasn't my first "rodeo". Even though I didn't believe the guy I talked him down to a dollar each on the five knives plus he tossed in an old Timex watch.
The actual "find of the day" came just beore leaving the flea market. Another seller had a pre-1960 Case XX which is in great shape for its age. I managed to snatch that one $10 and left the market. I am going to try to post an image of the Case.

I got tired of these floating around eBay, I started collecting with the Tiny Toothpicks in mind to
begin with and there are a couple good ones in here. I needed a display for them anyway (its not a Case display)
and I think these will make it 17 of the little guys. Here are the ones included..........

I went to an estate sale this morning. I was able to get all these knives for only $15. The first pic shows a tiny A. W. Wadsworth knife (1905-1936), a Simmons stockman (1868-1960), a John Primble pruner (1940-1968), an unknown stockman (main blade broken), a sliding ad knife, and an Imperial jack. The second pic just has some China and ad knives.

Thanks, bladeguy58. I don't mind at all. I bought it off a guy for only $40. I don't know why he was selling it for so cheap, but I don't really care!
