Really like that Beet. I have to admit though, I thought to myself...What could this one be called? 2/3rds Congress, 1/2 Swell center

Seriously, It is really nice, is it ivory?

Just got these 2 in today. Cards from Hammer Brand knives!

1939 and 40'
I'll have to replace the twine on the 39' card, it just falls apart in the hand.
Note the 3 spaces at the top are already torn into.

The bottom knife appeals to me the most....... No bail, nice, and that oval shield is mighty nice.
And what a great spear blade. And four pins in the scales. Nice knives knife-nut.

Turtle shell scaled Venture I think. It's either that or a T. Ellin Vulcan. I haven't cleaned the tang stamp off enough tell yet.

Its a Redge, Sheffield, I think I do have a John Watts though. These are Girl Guide or boyscout knives over here as well as being rigging knives.

I'm pretty sure one of these is a John Watts. They are a common brand and made a lot of my advertising knives.

Unfortunately this box was empty. Do any of you fine souls have a picture of what an Ibberson model 3136 might be? This box apparently held 2 Dozen.

Eggington is one of the few knife companies left in Sheffield. They have purchased the trade marks of the other companies as they went out of business. Ibberson went out of business during the mid eighties.
