Snowing again!!! And 45 out.. I like the weather forecast for a week from now! 60 sunny and snow!! OK.. That just about covers it!!! John

Rain now.. We ended up with about 2in of snow.. Cant wait to see what happens today... John

April Fools spring::shrug::

A feedlot down the road from mine in Dimmitt TX had 7 tornadoes last night and 12 inches of rain. Couple pictures of the guys trying to get the cattle out of the pens. Not good!!!

Had a storm with a lot of wind Saturday night. Lost a huge Limb on a 200 year old Live Oak tree at my mother old place.
My Brother in Law is standing beside it. Lots of sawing.

Larry, thats a job right there. The live oak is some of the heaviest wood I've encountered. Along with sycamore. They both hold alot of water. I cut trees for a living before I started the powerline job. Then my knees started giving me trouble.

That limb looks like a tree on its own.

Got a guy that was out of work to cut up the limb. He only wanted $125 for the job but he did a such a great job so we double that amount.

We got a front movin' thru in the next couple hours......watching radar on the Internet is so standard these days.

I remember as a kid playing football and baseball I would look to the west for clouds......and rain. Hated when I got all
the way to practice or the game and had to return home moments later. Funny.....my grandsons have a game at 7pm tonight - it
won't happen!!

I am happy to announce that if the looks these photos have proves correct it is the start of something great,

Well it was hot & sunny earlier, got cool and gloomy, then rained super hard Gotta love tornado season.

We got a good thunderstorm shower just after midnight (there was a tornado watch for our general area but thankfully no tornado) and another light rain this morning. Supposed to start raining again around noon. Too wet to cut wheat or hay so guess I'll go to the shed and figure out why my diesel pump quit working.

Well.. Summer is rearing its HUMID face today.. 75 on the dew point and 85 on the temp.. Was out in it for about an hour and I am soaked.. Happy Summer!!! John

I do believe that Cindy is slowly arriving here.. About 8am it got sooo dark I thought the street lights were going to come on.. We got rained on last night/early am and its looking like the rain is going to stick around all day/eve!! The clouds are moving so fast its unreal!! John
