I'm glad you're pleased with your new Case, Mark, and your shots are far better than the seller's other ones.
The display of Barlow's is nothing short of sensational, the new purple model will fit right in.
I saw your custom TC Barlow model in your store already and thought to myself, "I'm surprised Mark is parting with that knife, he loves it", but I'm sure you have your reasons.
It would be fun to view your entire collection all at one time some day, I'm certain we'd be in awe.

Thanks Marco , I use pretty much all my knives , daily and on camp , I can’t wait to get back out but been rough the last few weeks as my wife ended up in hospital and was touch and go , but she is home now and slowly getting better

That is just about all my Barlow’s, I forgot to add the Rosecraft Blades to the case. I thought of that after I took the photos. I have a few in the store, but they sell out pretty quickly whenever I add a Barlow to the store. Seems to be a very popular pattern along with whittlers and Congresses.

Posted these a couple years ago on the Venerable thread. Enos and Martha Furness. There was an Edward also. Like to find one to finish the set. All gone by 1916. Iron liners and integral bolsters. J.O'.

A 3-7/16", Composite, or hard rubber-handled, IXL Barlow with a stainless secondary blade. Both blades stamped "George Wostenholm, Sheffield, England". Always puzzled me why the springs, liners, secondary blade, pins, and bolsters are stainless and the main blade is carbon. The knife is original, shows no signs of disassembly. ?????? J.O'.

That's a nice old one, J.O. I had an old Kutmaster that had a mix of carbon and stainless blades . I guess they may have run out of something, or wanted to use up something they had too many of possibly. Or maybe a blade was replaced at a later time at the factory. I have a couple that I know have had blades replaced, but I sure can't tell. I think it's kinda' cool to have the mystery of something like that sometimes. they all have a story to tell. BTW, that looks like marker of some kind on the main blade. Do you think it may have been a salesman's sample, and they put the two types of blade steel on there to show the customers? Just a thought..

That's my catalog numbers. It's just Sharpie. Wipes right off. I spent three weeks cataloging my entire collection for my son and grandsons. Wouldn't want to leave them a mess. O'.

That is a BEAUTIFUL knife!

Lately I've been carrying my new Case purple barn board jig barlow. They did a good job on mine. The jigging was better than I expected too. As soon as I figure out how to post a picture, I'll put one up.
