No. Dad did 20 years AF, I did 20 years. I know contrails when I see them.
I Googled "Feather clouds". Bingo. Formed by ice crystals.

Garry.. That is a cove known as Muddy Creek although its not technically a creek of Lake Arthur in Moraine SP..

I pulled my camera cards on our place earlier in the week and found this interesting picture:
This little feller decided to bring his own camouflage to the party. Must have tried to thrash a bush and it broke off.
Here is the sanitation crew, cleaning up some scraps from deer processing. The bones were also gone but didn't get a picture of what carried them off. There are both Black Vultures and Turkey Buzzards in the crew.
Doing their job.
Time to go, find the next meal.
