We spent the weekend in Shepherdstown, WV. Stayed at the Bavarian Inn overlooking the Potomac River. Hiked to breakfast (I recommend Betty's for a nice farm-style breakfast) and then over to the C&O Canal for a few miles. Cold and breezy but nice to be outside.

I went morel hunting on Saturday, got some nice pictures of some Red Buds in bloom. Managed to find about a half dozen morels, still early yet I guess.
Also took some local cherry blossom pictures close to the Potomac River in Alexandria. They're falling like pink snow now.

I always seem to capture pics of an interesting variety of wildlife on the backside of my place. All these critters wandered by over a roughly two week period recently. The bobcat took a roll in the dirt, then sauntered off into the woods.
The only one that concerns me is the pack of feral dogs. There are about 7 of them in the pack, and I have been capturing them running across my place early in the morning every other week or so. They have attacked and killed / injured some dogs, cats, and livestock in the area.
