Nice pics, gentlemen!
I always seem to capture pics of an interesting variety of wildlife on the backside of my place. All these critters wandered by over a roughly two week period recently. The bobcat took a roll in the dirt, then sauntered off into the woods.
The only one that concerns me is the pack of feral dogs. There are about 7 of them in the pack, and I have been capturing them running across my place early in the morning every other week or so. They have attacked and killed / injured some dogs, cats, and livestock in the area.
Feral/wild dogs are a major problem here for especially sheep farmers, and wildlife.

I believe you’re right, Redrider! Looks like he would be able to fetch a 100 gr. .243 round but probably not bring it back.

I know that you log a lot of miles in the woods, sometimes you gotta stop and smell the shrooms, Yinzer! You need to put "eating at least one Morel" on your bucket list!

Awesome find, Ike!
I have found some of the white/yellow ones, but they seem to be more rare in my neck of the woods. Usually they're larger too, maybe easier for the deer to spot?

I don't know about that, but easier for me to spot! I don't hit it early in the season when the smaller, darker ones are out, just for that reason. I used to hunt them hard, but now I wait and go later. No shortage of deer around here, never thought of them eating morels???

Sas would probably eat them too.

I've read that they need to be cooked for human consumption.

That's one of the things I miss about New England is the history and architecture. There is very little in Alaska that's older than 100 years.

One theory is it fed a gris mill the other is a spring time lake runoff
