Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Scott, you sure have a natural talent. A friend called my wife to tell her to tell me that there was a chicken swap/flea market in the little town we live near. I drove into town and found a knife. It was the only one in town so I bought it. It's a horse shoe folded over with a D2 blade made and installed. The maker is a blacksmith and I think he did a pretty nice job.____Dave

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Posted these two on Mail Call already but here they are again. Couldn't find a fitting thread for em so they ended up here.
I recieved these two Germans this week. A 4" Solingen Bearhead Corkscrew Jack along with a 3 3/4" Hartkopf Lockback. Both have been carried & used but are in an overall good & Sharp condition. No blade play on either of them & great snap especially on the Bearhead. Thanks for looking!

I appreciate that more than I can say. I'm working my butt off with no time or place to feed my addiction to knives. Maybe you and I can get this economy going, or at least have a great time trying. ____Dave

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
I guess I'll start here since I found it today. Another leftover hiding in the bowels of our lunchroom at work. What's confusing me is the "Brown and Bigelow " and Solingen Germany. Assuming it was part of a set which may have been promotional but will probably never know. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Bill

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
My wife found this knife at a garage sale today, she said it's a little rough and missing the handles but it looked like a quality knife , and it was only a dollar. The knife is 5 3/8" long and you can just make out the Case Tested XX stamp,if it had bone handles I think it would be a #61213. Good job honey.
