Here's a Wade & Butcher Pruner/half-hawk with spring-loaded nippers and tweezers. Probably 1920's or earlier. The arrow points to the spring release tab for the nippers. O'.

4-3/8" Closed. Other companies made them in all-metal, with the same nippers. O'.

Love, love, love the handles Gary. I had 6 of my GEC farmers jacks made without shields to be custom designed like this and scrimshawed. It didn't work out.

I would like to thank Skip for pointing me in the right direction.

If anyone would like to see more pictures of any particular piece let me know.
I know they are not all pruning versions.
There may be more hanging out I know there is a case 5 dot may be a couple more.

Does anyone know when Remington manufactured the R718 pruning knife. I have read it's in the 1st catalog. But don't have access to one.

Picked up this odd ball pruning / grafting knife ?
Made by Ulster knife company .
Dark horn handles and the spoon blade looks like genuine ivory .
