Thanks, fellers! I enjoy looking at the pictures as much as the actual hunt, maybe even more because I'm almost guaranteed to see to see a deer with the camera. Several of our acquaintances have the cameras that send pictures back to their cell phones as soon as the camera responds to motion. I'm still in the flip-phone stage and don't care to be tied to it as they are. Most Wednesdays I pull the cards and insert another set and wait for a week to see what is happening in our world.

I just about live for riding the side by side these days. If it is 65 degrees or warmer wifey and me like to head out at least once a week. I am fortunate to see plenty of wildlife. Have seen bear but haven't been able to get a picture. Few years ago would see herds of elk but lately only pairs. There are 2 herds of free range wild horses close by. They are always looking for treats. The small waterfalls is a place we go couple times a year in summer. Last picture is wild country girl that takes care of me.

Yea Treefarmer people get horses and then find out how expensive they are and decide to turn them loose instead of running the risk of getting charged with cruelty to animals. That is my guess. There is a nonprofit that has started helping them. I think there are 9 herds scattered around. https://appalachianhorseproject.org/

Between Lucky Dog and doglegg looks like you two are leading a dogs life - nice scenery! Buddy and mine drove up to Weldon on the Roanoke River yesterday, despite limited time to fish we got into the Shad run in a decent way, nearly constant action for the hour we fished. 2-1/2 hour drive for me, but worth it for the bite yesterday. We spent the morning downriver in an unproductive area, next time I do it will be straight to Weldon. OH

Rascal thought about taking up resendence under the boss's she shed. I'm thinking there was to much activity for him, hopefully he's moved on. Ain't seen him in a couple of days.
