Trapper with Malachite and Chrysocolla in quartz scales

This is a knife I did in trade with a Jade dealer for some cutting of a 92 pound green garnet stone on his 36 inch saw! I have a 16 inch saw but it isn't close to big enough for the green monster I bought from the dealer.

The material is like nothing I have ever seen before. Look at the closeup by clicking on it to blow the size up. The malachite has a feathery look to it that seems to be crystaline in nature and the chrysocolla looks like turquoise in quartz.

The knife was a used one with sentimental value to the dealer so I did a brushed finish on the bolsters so they won't show finger prints or EDC markings as easily.....
