After studying that first picture carefully, I came to the conclusion that the reason they are both laughing is because the man with President Reagan has inadvertantly brought a knife to a gun fight. Well, either that or Reagan is committing armed robery, taking that guy's knife.

I believe several of those knives are very similar to the one in this month's give away, except for the etchings.

Thanks Philco, there were only 250 of them made but Ive seen 4 of them for sale on ebay in the last few years, normally these sell for between $500 and $2500 although Ive seen two sell for around $200 on ebay. It was part of a 4 peice set the highest price paid for the set was $10.000 dollars. Th Alamo is the most expensive in the set so $200 is ridiculously cheap.

I just thought I'd share this with you. I visited the Alamo this past summer while on vacation. The etching is a remarkably accurated depiction of what the place looks like.
When I was there it was a bit more crowded than the scene on the knife, but the folks were a tad less hostile!

Here is a set of Schrade Aurums which I always felt should be displayed together. Dave Ruger ( DRUGER ) cut out the plywood inner frame I upolstered ( such as it is ). The display case is the same as Schrade used for there WWII 50 year ann set, with the innards changed. The pics while not great should give you the idea. These came in individual bood boxes originally .LT

Thanks LT I love the way you display yours it has real class, your the only other person I know who has all these, Im sure they will increase in value. Im still waiting on LOAs Im confident they will come soon. Regards Tim
