I finished this Buck 110 for my personal collection today. It is a new style of cut I am working on that is for use with thin stone on a wide knife. Look carefully at the fit lines...

It is beyond my comprehension how you are able to achieve such an amazingly precise fit, particularly working in the medium you are.

The tutorial is finished and Bryan has it formated with chapter links to all 18 chapters. He did a really great job in converting my "novel" in Microsoft Word into a linked tutorial for posting here. I think if you read the whole thing you will be amazed at how much work it really is.

As usual your work is a standard for me to strive for. I keep trying and have plenty of time to do it but even with all that I still can't come close to your fit and finish... remarkable. And, I have one of yours to look at first hand. The pictures don't do it justice. My challenge is to keep on working to approach your work. The medium you have chosen is in another league of difficulty.

pmike5869 - I think the tutorial will help you a lot in getting a tight fit line no matter what medium you are using as it is a transferable skill. I get bone, ivory and mammoth tooth just as tight.

I totally agree that it is a transferrable skill and that's why I asked if you would be willing to do it. I've tried to express my enthusiasm several times but still can't get over it. I've done Ivory, wood, bone,stag antler and none of them would be as difficult as stone. Also, the tools required are going to be more exotic than files and sandpaper. Just to cut stone raises the degree of difficulty tremendously. Again,,,Thanks millions!
