so this is the first of many to come this is 60 layers 8 x 5/16th 1095 x 4" and 7 x .60" of 15n20 folded two times i call it Angle because it has two angle fish in it at least i see them LOL you can see the pic.'s also to see the whole 18"x2" billet go to the you tube link also there are two videos of me working my new Uncle Al's Hydraulic press

I would guess that it is Anhydrous borax.

I worked there as a young man, U.S. Borax, in Boron California. Dated this steaming little blond

i streched the billet to 26" 1/4 thick .i think a roman gladius i've never made one YET pic's soon got to do some more reading on swords first
