Any advice from Case experts; ::shrug:: on this folding hunter? Thought about bidding; but the stamp looks a little funny to me; and no pattern # on back of tang. Thanks.

Paul, I'am no expert but the knife looks OK to me, just a nice old rough black hunter complete with file marks on the blade. If its counterfeit why stop halfway on the cleaning? As for no model number........I don't know. mike

Paul,
That seller has a Boy Scout knife for sale right now that I have been watching. It is a stag handled version which does not appear in my book of Boy Scout knives. I'm still scratching my head on that one. ::doh:: ::shrug::

Looks like a Case Tested XX 2-blade hunter with rough black scales to me. I don't see anything suspicious about it. ::shrug::
