Those are nice knives, I like Ka-Bar. I have the fighting knife at home (7 inch Blade) and it's 1095 Cro-Van. 1095 Cro-Van is: Carbon (C) 0.95-1.1, Manganese (Mn) 0.30-0.50, Chromium (Cr) 0.40-0.60, Nickel (N) 0.25, Vanaduim (V) 0.161, Molybdenum (Mo) 0.06, and the typical hardness is 56-58 Rc. Really great steel.

I have not put it through the paces so far, but I really do like the knife. I never had one of those before, but I ended up with the Kabar and a Case of the same pattern. The Kabar is the better quality of the two IMO.
I had them back out just the other day admiring them.
