I had some Case Classics with damaged celluloid handles so I had a few of them rehandled by Michael Prater...
First is a toothpick model with black pearl, yellow spiney and blood turquoise
Second one is a Case Classic trapper with red coral and blue turquoise
Third is another toothpick in black pearl and abalone.. The last two pictures show some of the file work...

Nice looking knives Willy.

I also like the trapper - BUT that black lip pearl and abalone comnination on the toothpick sure looks great! Looks like Paua abalone (Paua Select laminated - I have a sheet out in the garage along with a sheet of green abalone also) to me. (because of the depth of the greens and blues that seem to shimmer onto the black lip pearl). It can be a lot of fun to work with Michael Prater of Painted Pony.
You got some classy looking classics from him. Congrats!!

Great bunch of Painted Ponies. Those are some real Keepers!
Michael Prater did some Painted Ponies for KNIVES LIVE from GEC knives about a month ago. A first for GEC - I think.
