Pattern R6744. About as close to mint as could be expected. Has a couple of spots I haven't dealt with yet. Nice pearl, unsharpened, full crocused polished front main blade, with full " Remington TradeMark" etch. Has the 1924-1933 tang stamping. I can't seem to get enough Remingtons in this condition.

I got this from E-bay , it just came in today. Outside of a few knife shows ans an occasional auction about all the knives I get from E-bay. I'll take a roto tool with a buffing pad and a drop of Flitz to remove the spider spots. With a little patience and care, they will come off and there will be no evidence that they were there.

cool, that's exactly the way i do it. it stops the corrosion. and with a soft wheel and light touch, it removes no metal. i will sometimes use jewelers rouge if necessary.
thanks, johnnie
