Schrade and Imperial EDC's

I finally was able to get back down to my shop and start playing with my knives again.

In going through my hoard, I found some old Imperials. I wasn't too keen on putting the cells in with my collection, so I decided to make them EDC's. I'm not one to do too much to my old knives, preferring to leave them mostly the way I got them. Just cleaned them up a bit on the oustide and sharpened them up.

Nice little slim single spring Imperial...

These weren't all schrades, but they are schrade related. I am trying to rotate them out daily, to enjoy them. They ride well in the pocket, and cut like the dickens.

Here's an Imperial I'd not seen before. Imperials version of the electrician's knife. The blades have the original factory edge. That is my third knife from the estate sale over last holiday weekend. Was a Knife Weekend! ::tu:: Bull

Here's a nice little (2 11/16) Imperial I like. I bought it in a gun shop. Found it rattling around in an old cardboard box.
My gun guru/shop owner sold it to me for $10. Solid, well made knife. The joints are almost completely sunk, with brass liners. Sometimes I carry it in my watch pocket. I've got several little knives for that hidey hole.
There are some very nice knives on display in this thread.

I like your Imperial, FRJ. For a few days I had one of those, maybe not quite as clean as yours. I had shown an old Pal to a lady friend of mine, and she commented on how much she liked the "pearl" handle. I promised her the next "pearl" handled knife I found, and it happened to be the Imperial. I hope she takes good care of it, it's a fine knife.

Well, trail, it looks like those knives fell out of the same mold. It's nice to see a picture of yours.
That was a generous gift to your friend. I'm sure she will take good care of it and remember you when she uses it.
