The tang stamp was used by Case circa: 1903-1920. It's more important to read the knife and not the tang stamp though. Maybe one of the Case collectors that have much more Case knowledge than I will drop in and can give you more information.

Are there any other markings on it at all?

Can you make out if it says PA. beside or under the word BRADFORD?

What is the closed size?

Main blade looks like Razor, Not an electritions knife ::shrug::

Im thinking pre 20's

Im not an expert but I think you may have a real beauty there ::tu:: Unless its another one of thoes FLEE bay scams ::dang::

I thought I could see PA. after Bradford on the tang stamp Marty but my eyes aren't what they used to be. I can't enlarge the first picture of the knife to get a good look at it all, pins, bone jigging and etc. So just going by the tang stamp (which is a no-no in reality knife collecting) it looks to be a Case knife. Steve or one of the other Case guys may drop in to give a more detailed answer.

kinda favors an old WW1 navy issue, but those had a file secondary blade. Also Most of the ones I've seen were marked with a WR stamp

Is it just my eyes or does the secondary blade look as if the file grooves were maybe ground off and the tip slightly re-profiled, in comparison to BR's knife example? Man, I need some new glasses, I can't see sh......uh...hardly anything anymore. I noticed the pins are in different places comparing the two different knives together.

Great knife you got there Bladerunner ::ds::

I think you are right on the money calling Badboy's knife a WW1 Navy knife ::tu::

HELLO AIMUS! :D

I agree the tang may say PA. after Bradford and not under. The stamp looks (to me) to be way high up on that tang tho, Is that right? ::shrug::

I really like the scales and jigging very much on BOTH knives posted here ::tu::

But not in the 2nd pic ::shrug::

Im not even sure now that is the same knife in both pics??? ::paranoid::

Look at the grooves just above the tangs in both pics. :?

Seems that the close up of the tang stamp has now changed to a different photo  I don't think the first one was the same knife ::shrug:: The first one was a Case Bradford stamp, I know I ain't had that many Budweisers yet

On the pic of Badboys knife, the blades are reversed from the pic of BR's knife.

Badboycase,

Are any or all of the knives you have posted pics of here at AAPK yours? Or are they knives you are looking at on the internet?

Just wondering pal ::tu::

The blades are in the same position as BRs knife.

The two pictures that BB posted are of the same knife. Take a close look at the bottom of the pull in both pictures.

Pin holes were drilled by hand back in the day.

Yeah I guess yall are right. To my old eyes, the pen/file looked in the rear of badboys. Guess it's just the shadow at the base of the tang. Hell to get old.

Guys,

Badboys original post was of 2 different pics of 2 different knives, I am sure of that.

He said he changed the pics after the fact.

Yep, it looks like I came in late and missed the wrong pic post.

They are the same now, and I guess we answered your question BB?

Anyhow...............it looks like a Case to me.
