According to Goins, Galvanic 1882 was a trademark used by J.B.F. Champlin from 1882-1890.

Hi All, I bought the knife on ebay but have not been able to contact the person who started the thread. I was hoping he would send a message back so I could give him more info but have not heard from him. I will post some good pictures of it and the other one I have marked GALVANIC1882.

large picture does look real to me also but close up doesn't look like it to me. It won't be the first time I have been wrong today

The galvanic knife is pearl for sure but the one with the corkscrew is celluloid. I bought them for the galvanic of course. That is only the second one I have ever seen marked that way and I have the other one.

I am going to post pictures of the knife and more galvanic stuff on Knife Lore. Title will be JBF Champlin.
