The two faces of Zebra Wood...

Are there different types of Zebra wood? How can it look so different put on knives by folks just a couple miles apart?

There are several faces to Zebra wood ..... I would guess it is how it is cut, just like quarter sawn oak vs. oak planking ???

I think the term "zebrawood" refers not to a specific species so much as to various species that have a zebra striped grain pattern. So there will be variation in the actual look of zebrawoods.
