hammer brand ???

I have a hammer brand its not in good shape and I am wanting some info on it

How is it marked? What does the blade look like?

The blade say hammer brand with the a arm with a hammer in the hand It looks like a trapper or jack knife the other blade is gone. The one blade looks like a regular pull

I can't tell you much from the picture, but I can share a bit of info from Goin's Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings . "Hammer Brand" was used by New York Knife Company from 1878-1932. After they went out of business, the Imperial Knife Company picked up the name and used it on their shell handled knives from about 1936 on.

What is the handle material of your knife? It does not look from here to be the shell type handle.

The handles look like pearl or bone the other side is gone

It looks like the one from 1938 to 1941
