Goins shows it to be a stamping used by Western States Cutlery in about 1958. Very nice!

West Cut was an economy line for Western.
Sort of the no frills, but a good user knife, like Camco was for Camillus.
I have a West Cut 2 bladed jack that I have been EDCing for a couple months.
I have a lot of fancier knives, but this little guy has EXCELLENT carbon steel!
IMHO, Western had some of the best carbon steel ever put in a knife, depending on when the Western was made. IMO, the older ones are the best.
