All About Pocket Knives

I don't know anything about knives and this seemed like a really good expert site. When I was a kid I was in a wedding and got a pretty cool "swiss-army"-type knife that I still have to this day. I'm getting married now and am looking to do the same gift for my groomsmen. Hoping to get some help on what are good makes/models and where to buy? Would be cool if I can get it engraved as well but not necessary. Looking to spend around $100/each. Thanks for helping a know-nothing!

A pretty cool "swiss army knife" is the victorinx Trekker.

You can usually get them for under 50.00 and its a solid well made knife.

Its kinda like the modern Swiss army knife made by the same co.

I'm going to suggest you look at the leatherman site ..... while not technically a knife it is a darn handy tool to own at times ....

Once when I was in a wedding party some years back, all of the Groomsmen were given one of these silver Swiss Army Knives with their initials engraved on them.

me personally......i would go "Alox"(MODEL OF SAK W/ ALUM HANDLES)........prolly a "farmer" (most aloxs' are engraveable too!!)
