That is a really unusual pattern. Who would of thought of crossing a manicure knife with a hunting knife? Regardless, great old knife.

Great knife. Heres a customized 96ot I got in a trade from JR. Stone scales, I think they are tigers eye.

I just aquired my first trapper a 96ot what a great knife I put it in a sheath the last two weeks it will be in my EDC rotation especially when I take out the Fatboy ::tu::How did I go so long without a trapper

Great looking setup. Trappers are one of my favorite patterns. To me, they personify what knives are all about. They look great, They make a heck of a worker whether field dressing an animal or peeling an apple, they are capable of doing very near all but the heaviest chores, They feel good in your hand and they are large enough to not fall through the cracks. I just captured a big old Case that I will picture as soon as I get a bit of Sunshine. Thinking about it a bit I will show it with a Case slim Trapper that I have had awhile. They should make a nice contrast to each other.

Nice Moss,I think the reason I avoided trappers all these years I felt the need for Jacks and stockmen because of a smaller secondary blade

Although the Great Western large spey is cool, The small spey is available also as I recollect.

Edit: I have no idea what the Large Spey was for, I for one among many I suppose would not stand behind an Elephant during the procedure.

Here is one that was sent by Canal Street not to long after their opening. It is or was at the time a one of a kind. Misters Gardiner and Hufnagel are a Management team that many companies can only dream of.

garddogg56: Have not bee ignoring you, couldn't find it till a few minutes ago. Doing the same as it was Pictured. My knives get no use as I don't hunt or work anymore, been retired now for a bit over a decade. Having more fun than and old guy should be permitted. By the way thanks for asking. I also ran across a late model Remington Two blade trapper while looking for the Old Timer. I will attach a few photo's to this post in a few days.
