Case Li'l Devil knife questions

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case Li'l Devil knife questions

Post by tipoc »

I acquired this knife recently and I know nothing about it. It is a Case Li'l Devil fixed blade knife. On one side of the blade it has the standard Case stamping and the other what looks to be "P51 SSP".

The knife came without a sheath so if anyone has a proper one, or has a pic of a proper one, that could help me a bit.

Any information on the knife could also help. Like when it was produced, how many, etc.

Your knife was made in 1979, the year that pattern was introduced. Quantities are not known since it was a standard production Case knife. That pattern was discontinued by the late 1980's.

I am 99% sure that this is the sheath for a Lil' Devil . The overall length is 7-3/4" snapped closed . If you are interested , send me a P.M. , it is $10 + $2 shipping .
