Redrummd 875PCS - This incredible stone is Regency Rose Plume Agate from the Graveyard Point claim in Oregon.
The interest in customized factory knives seemed to disappear for quite a while here so since it seems there is a bit more "traffic" currently I thought I would put up a bit of eye candy. It was sad to see my last work did not even get looked at 70 times in going on two months.....

I can't speak for others Mike, but I make it a point to look at every piece of work you post. What you do with a chunk of stone is amazing to me and this one is no exception. My sister-in-law, the geologist, absoutely loves the single bladed lockback example of your work I gave her and I know our friend "Uncle Jim" Prather in Moore, Oklahoma cherishes his collection of Case Seahorses you've done for him. So don't think that your work isn't being noticed. In fact, it's being sought out, which leads me to ask where the tutorial of your stone working methods on AAPK went to? I was looking for it a couple of weeks ago and noticed that it isn't there any more.

if your pics are big enough, sometimes I don't
click to enlarge, as my computer is slow.
I am pretty sure the count under your pics only
changes if us users are clicking to enlarge them?
always enjoy them myself

Mike,
You still have your fan base, let me assure you.
That is a beautiful knife and you have done a marvelous job crafting those handles.

(We've come to expect that from you.)
Thanks for the "eye candy".
Phil

Thanks for the link Mike. I bookmarked it this time. It used to be in a different place in the forums I believe and I simply couldn't find it. Not that I'm set up to do anything in stone.....beyond a diamond wet saw that I use for mother-of pearl and Mammoth Tooth, I couldn't make a dent in the stuff. Which reminds me that my sister-in-law, the geologist that I spoke of, gave me some stone (of some sort) already cut into slabs. I'll send you a PM on them. I'd be glad to donate them to the cause if they're worthy. Oh yeah, Uncle Jim says "HI!".

Mike, your work is always fantastic.
I myself am guilty of disappearing for a while. I still read when I can, but I have not had the oppourtunity to work on anything for some time. We've been exceedingly busy at work, and between doing a ton of hiking this year, and one very large project sucking up all my free time....
same old story

I have a few knives in the "queue" but who knows when I'll produce something lol.

Mike, your work is awesome!! Your knives are all works of art in my opinion, so don't think it isn't appreciated.
