Hello, I purchased a Remington R1173L dated 1984. I know this is a fairly common knife, but when I have seen others they all have a lanyard hole where mine has 2 rivets. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

I will give it a try, and I learned they are called pins not rivets. Sorry I also wonder if this is real bone, as it looks different than the others I have. Thanks in advance

Don't know anything about the reproduction Remingtons but that certainly looks like genuine bone.

Tony......

I couldn't find the exact knife ..but look at the Cutco Bullwhip 1882...so I bet that your knife is probably made by Alcas
