All About Pocket Knives

I know it is a bit of a stretch to post this thing, since it's not sharp and not pointy, but it might bring back memories of Christmas at Grandma's house for a lot of readers. It does me. The background is a dish cloth I made from Osnaburg Cotton - better known as feed sack cloth to the generation that grew up during the depression. People used to make clothes, blankets, curtains, almost anything out of it.

I recall using one of those quite often before nuts came shelled.....................

I have 4 producing Pecan trees and try as I might I can't get them to fall off the tree shelled! I use one similar to the old timey ones like trails, but not quite. I love Pecans and at $10.00 a pound shelled, I don't mind settin in front of the tube shelling a few hundred watchin the Cowgirls get beat on Sunday!
