That particular style Craftsman logo was used on tools from 1934 until about 1948.I bought a complete set of Craftsman sockets and ratchets in the original tool box awhile back with that exact style logo.After some research I came up with those dates.As an aside;virtually all Craftsman tools were made by New Britain Tool Co.bigdaddys8ball wrote:hello everybody i dug this up the other day ive had it for a long time it was my grandpaws and he passed in 1978 and ive have had it all these years i cleaned for about 30 minutes and on the side of it it says craftsman over =reg us pat off-m= it looks like it has never been used what can anyone tell me about this hatchet i would like to know when it was made
