All About Pocket Knives

I'm sure there has been a post regarding Doctor's knives, but it's been a while since I've seen any posted.
So here we go again! I made up a collection of my favorite Doctor's Knives in a display case that can be hung on the wall.
I love this pattern and it's fun to collect.

Nice Doctors everyone, glad I am not alone in my taste of knives.
I like the Doctors knives too.
The Case Damascus did not come with a box. Would you all it Peacock Appaloosa?
It is green in color, it's a beautiful knife, the price was right.
The two Bear and Son MOP, look so much better in person.
This is not the best camera in the works either.

All we have is a couple old worn ones.

I do have a couple. I guess I could have saved myself some time had I took a picture of several at one shot. Oh well. Now they're recorded.

Let's start off with a couple of those Case Classics, Long Tailed 'C', serialized and follow that up with the complete set of Parker's Family Tree series with cell handles. There were also four bone handles and four stag handles but I don't have any of them.

Here are the rest of my Doctor's Knives.
The first three on the left I made the scales for.

I'm still looking for Parker's "Little Pillbuster" knives
I have 4 out of 9 as pictured in my display case.

I'm pretty sure you're right. I'm almost positive it was called a Peacock Appaloosa. The box for mine was destroyed in a flood so I can't go back to that. The color seems to vary a great deal.

This is the last of those by Case, that haven't been previously posted. I'm including the Baby Doc's just to keep the Case line together.

How do you feel about a clip blade on a doctors knife?

Knives have not been made using celluloid for many years, these are acrylic scales.

As for a clip blade being used on a doctors knife, I find it untraditional.
Two-blade Doctor's Knife, spearpoint blade and spatula/tongue depressor blade. Flat end for crushing of pills, hence the name given Pillbuster. This is what a doctor's knife should have, but I like them all!

Au contraire mon frere. The mid-90s Parker Family Tree collection (made by Queen) that I first posted, have cell handles. So do the two mid-90s Case Classics. (also made by Queen) Or at least that's what I've been told by folks on this forum who are respected for their knowledge.

It's nice to find someone who agrees with me. I'm a traditionalist and haven't been able to bring myself to purchase any with a clip blade. Maybe we should rename them Chiropractors Knives. They're not real doctors either. (Now I've done it. That's going to piss someone off.)

I almost forgot. I hate to admit it but I do have a couple of Chinese Docs.
