Automatics, or switchblades as some call them, are the big boogy man of the knife world. Have been since 1957. Fact: I, or most of you have an 'assisted' or thumb powered folding knives that can be brought into service quicker than any auto. Fact: Punks long ago moved from fast opening knives to 9mm autos when going about thier criminal business. But all this is not a can of worms I wanna open right now. I simply want to see a friend allowed to place his valuable, all-American knives and stuff in a public place, for all time, for all to admire and learn from. He could use your support. He's going up against Albany for round two.

Most of you know I tend to stay out politics but this is one issue that I have gotten active in in the past. The stupidity of the law/ban and how it impacts a well intentioned historical display at a museum got me.
The fact that there are American manufactures that make auto's and export them or sell them to either Military or law enforcement in the US and then they can always be bought via the mail boggles the mind.
These little tools can be legaly purchased world-wide and in a few states here in the US.
Write e-mails and let them know in Albany that we are watching.

I will be keeping everyone informed on this subject when the time comes the legislator who is supporting this bill said she will advise me, at that time I will let as many people as possible know that it is coming up if you feel in favor of it ,or not ,I will supply a email address to which you may send a message to voice your opinion toward it. Needless to say I would certainly appreciate any opinions sent which are of a positive nature. I can only guess that the generations of Americans who made this history and were in part responsible for a segment of the history of this country would, if they were alive, also appreciate this input.
