I bought this online today to go with my candy stripe knives. Pretty cool older schrade pattern
here looks like. I found a little info on this but was hoping someone might know what year(s) that
the candy stripe handles were available. The info I found is from 1946.
Thanks,
TC

Nice little knife
I don`t know when Schrade stopped using that candystripe cell.
I have see quite a bit of it used on switchblade knives over the years

I don't know the year they stopped, but your tang stamp of SCHRADE WALDEN N.Y. minus the USA indicates post 1946, until around 1950. After that they added U.S.A. Most of the non USA stamped knifes had no pattern stamped on the reverse side, and some of the earlier ones had the SCHRADE stamping on all of the blades. Doesn't answer your question, but some information about the early Waldens.
I really like that candy stripe cell pattern. I have a cracked ice with some neon advertising. I would guess mine to be from the mid - late 1960's, given the razor blade etch.
