My first Ebay knife. I was going to use this one but now I don't know. I like the Winterbottom.

To use or not will have to be your decision. That is a good
looking knife.

this is the struggle most of us encounter when we get a new knife in our hands.
this is my way of deciding:
if i am completely smitten with the knife and plan on keeping it forever, it goes in my pocket.
if i'm not quite sure, or if i definitely plan on selling it at some point, it stays in the box.
in other words, if i have the slightest doubt about whether or not it's a "keeper," i put it back in the box.
so far, this method has worked pretty well for me.
i don't regret putting any of my edcs to use, even if they're rare or expensive.
they are, after all, tools at their very hearts.

Seems like I buy enough used stuff to carry, been diffucult for me to use a brand new one. Hate to
put that first scratch or nick in it. I ordered 2-3 new ones to 'edc' but ended up deciding to put em
away and use the ones with miles on em already, for now at least.

beautiful knife!!- if you are like me, it will go back in the box!-i collect camillus knives, but over the past few years, i've bought 2 schatt & morgan whittlers, a robeson baby humpback whittler, two queen whittlers, all of which i intended to use. not only did i not want to ruin them, but i have carried an old #72 camillus whittler for so many years, i can't stand not to have it in my pocket. for the time being, i'll just look at the others!

Well you are just learning about collecting.

I love the Carved Stag Bone that Queens puts out. Here is a photo of CSB.

It looks much like the Winter-bottom. Sometimes I have a hard time telling them apart. Trust me, many of the sellers on ebay list the knives wrong. Even some come with the wrong factory boxes too. I find most of them that go to knife shows to sell. They get put back in the wrong boxes. Well if the boxes mean any thing to you. Many that use a knife roll just don't keep the boxes and 10 years later they get misplaced (the box).

You have a good looking one there Tim.

I just want to add that it is a SFO knife from Queens.

Now the more info you can get about the knife adds more to the value when you pass it on. Start keeping good records too.
