Wow...I am jealous! Great score there, wish I could come across those kinds of sales. That would look great in my Schrade Room.

Thanks for posting pictures and welcome to the site!

The easiest, most obvious answer is pre-1947; that is when Albert Baer bought Schrade Cut Co & it became Schrade Walden.
Let me send a link to LT so he sees that thread. He is the most likely person I can think of to date the display.

Just got back from AC . Glad to be home got beat up . made my move in a holdem tourney the guy had wired threes and flopped two more for quads and that was the hand I picked to make my move , I got beat up slower on the money tables. However the Crown royal in the diamond club is free. Here are some pics which should help you date your . display very early teens and earlier. if the shelf is original it is unusual, it may have been used later for there switchlade machine. Which I will not get into again . they were also used for that purpose in the thirtys. I just snapped a few quicky shots . there are some more on the warwarsing historical and knife museum thread. Hope you do not mind my displays are all full. Hope this helps LT

LT, it is ALWAYS a pleasure to look at your knives! ::drool:: ::drool::

Thanks for sharing more of your collection and giving the date on the display. ::tu::

Thanks again,
Dale

Thanks for taking the time to share the treasure of part of your collection to date the display case i had ask for help on. Your collection just blows me away. ::ds:: I will take some time to go back and read alot of the history on Schrade you have shared with this board over the years.
I didn't get to thank you last night as i was on the phone with my daughter in Norman Oklahoma. She needed help keeping calm with all the tornadao's happening around her. She is fine and no damage to her house.

Thanks again!

Hi Guy -- Very good to hear your daughter is safe.

Wild weather tragedies such as are currently being experienced bring us all back to earth.
So many of the knives I've collected thru the auction site have come from the same areas that are being brutalized by weather this past week.

Best Wishes to all of our brethren out there.

Howie

Glad family is OK . My dad used to talk of the big blows of the dust bowl days throwing a cotton gin for miles and other stories of death and destruction. My heart goes out to all those folks you will not hear them bitch complain or riot they will dig in and put the pieces back together. I would like to see the billions in aid we send to our sworn enemies being sent to Americans in need instead, but I guess saying that is politically incorrect you know what piss on being politically correct and piss on them.
