Firestone Deluxe ?

Camp ax marked Firestone Deluxe, the handle about 24" long. This is first one I have had, and looks to be very little information on the net about these can anyone give me a little history? Thanks,

Firestone made all kinds of cutlery from 1931 until 1943
Do you have a photo of the ax? Does it look like it was made in this era?

The ax would be from that time frame, at some time it has been rehandled. I'll try and get a couple of pics snapped and post them for you, thanks for the info so far.
