Little Waldens (for Trail)

Long pulls, serpentine handles, and tiny pen blades. The small 2 3/4" pen, stockman, and jack knives Schrade Walden made in the 1950's and 1960's are a fun bunch to collect. The big knives get a lot of the attention, but these are really well made pocket knives.

All Schrade Walden's new in the tube.

Nice assortments of handles materials and patterns

One of my favorite pictures.

The Free State Brewing Company in Lawrence KS makes some good beers. If you are ever going between the Mississippi River and the Rockies on I-70, pull it on over and have some excellent ale and great pub food.

Very nice knives.
The Rendevous Bar is still there... things don't move so fast over in Chanute.

That's amazing. My buddy and I kept a room above the bar. I worked with the owner, Earl, in Arkansas City putting in telephone poles. We'd fly in his little airplane, covered in bedsheets, said he. A week after I flew with him and went back to the north west he and a friend of his crashed that plane in the ground. 1971, I believe. Wish I could remember his girlfriends name. She was a dear.
Sorry, I don't want to hijack your thread.

Thanks, thawk, a fine set of knives. I've been carrying my 104OT every day for the last couple of weeks, and it has done everything I asked of it.
