This week's painting to benefit a good cause............

A couple of pieces I am working on this week;one will be auctioned off to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness and the other to benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind. Neither are finished yet but I thoght I'd show their progress.
The Art Bra Auction is a local thing that has been going on in my home town for several years now.People are invited to create a unique and/or unorthodox bra and they are auctioned off;the proceeds going to Breast Cancer Awareness.I have contributed several in the past and thought I'd do something a little different this year.
First is a half mannequin that I purchased some time back from a local customer.I sprayed it sort of flesh color and then set about to make the bra.I had several plastic skulls that were originally Christmas-style lights made for Hallowe'en that seemed to be the right size and some left over elastic strapping I'd used to repair some vintage welder's goggles.
Using my trusty pocket knife,I cut away part of the back of the skulls and finish contoured them using my Foredom die grinder. The straps were cut to length and hot-glued to the skulls.The whole assembly was then glued to the mannequin.
I then started laying down some striping in white and will add a couple more colors to complete the job.
The next piece is a skateboard deck that is lettered in red white and blue and will be striped in the same color scheme.There are actually about 9 different colors used.These are strictly wall hangers although they could be fitted with trucks and used.

Are they to ward off the bad guys ?
