Good Day at the Auction

Well the auction turned out pretty good for buyer's but not good for the seller. 60% of the knives were Bulldog and Fight'n Roosters and most of them were "celluloid"...it was not a pretty sight. All had been in storage for years and signs of gassing were quite evident.
There was no "vintage" knives....most were from the mid 80's to late 90's, some nice Case, Bolker, Camillus and a mix of others.

I had to bring home a few...Case stags, Red stag damascus and Hen & Rooster stags...made my day..... :D

I think the auctioneer thought he had hit the knife motherlode when I first called him.

When I found out that most were Bulldogs & Fighting Roosters I told him to watch out for the offgassing & seperate those from the others if there was any signs of gassing. I was afraid they would be a big mess.

I am glad you did well there! ::tu::
