Would someone date and identify this knife? I do not see any breaks or cracks. Very used.

Knife appears to be a Remington R3893. This is a pattern that Levine calls a "stock knife type double-end jack". I'm assuming that the knife is 3 7/8" closed but that information isn't given.
This is one of the original Remington's, not a reproduction, so it was manufactured by Remington in the 1920' or '30's. It appears to be in very good shape. Normally these knives were stamped on the back of the tang with the pattern numbers, but some had their pattern numbers inked on and these are frequently lost.
