so i get up this morning, jump in the old bic lighter of cars, the ford escort...fire it up...and WARRRRROOOM
damn little car sounds like someone stole the muffler....hummmm
so i pop the hood..and yep..someone tried to steal the catalytic, and all they really did was ruin the part, left it hanging, broken off at the header...still attached to the tail pipe.
wtf? all they did was ruin my parts.

Sorry to hear that, the phrase 'people suck' has been verified once again. We are lucky for the
good guys we have on this site. Broken exhaust manifold studs are no fun, better squirt em with
some rust penetrant while you are looking for the other parts ::nod:: .

Gringo,
That sucks. Scrap it for the platinum and roll with open headers.
Youll probly save gas cause you will be afraid to step on it. LOL

That sucks. Lots of scrap thieves around here. They have recently been breaking into power substations and stealing the copper ground grids. Idiots...

well...spent a larger part of the day removing the remains of my exhaust off the car...damn, no simple job...cross-member kept the remains in place...so...remove the remains, got out the old torch and brazed the parts back into a workable whole...
not the prettiest sight...but now the exhaust goes down the pipe like it is supposed to.

sneaky people suck.

Man, that had to be a rough one on ya, Gringo!
I guess if you look at it on the positive... at least they didn't get away with it.
You know how much those things cost these days ::nod::

Heck, you can't even find a used one anymore. All the scrap yards have "cashed um in."
