Mixed Up Hammer Brand Cigar!

This NYKC Hammer Brand cigar has an Imperial Hammer Brand secondary blade!
Normally the second blade would have the New York Knife Co. stamp.
Guess if the shoe fits....

Did they usually have steel pins and nickel bolsters? Might be a repair job.

Guys,
I do not think there is not enough in the photos to say this is a NYKC at all. The frame? Maybe, The first blade Imperial, hard to say about the second one. There is no question that one has been apart though

Teachable moment here.............
Would a knife like that normally have two full length blades ?
Most of the cigar jacks I've seen had a full sized spear or clip blade and a smaller pen blade.

The long pull running all the way through the blade and into the swedge is a typical characteristic of NYKC.
I believe the frame and main are correct.
The secondary blade looks to have been altered from an Imperial spear. With the U.S.A. stamp, it dates the blade to '45 - '55.
NYKC used steel pins with there steel bolsters and NS pins with the NS bolsters.
I'm with you Phil, normally they have a pen as the secondary blade.
BUT hay, it WAS advertised as a "Hammer Brand", and that's exactly what it says on the blades!
