So 'splain this to me Lucy. If the round does not segment until impact, how does it compensate for "aim error"?

I wondered that too.
I guess if you hit the target in a non-lethal area a fragment might reach a vital area.
I think it is a better just to learn how to shoot!
Is it possible a defective round could fragment in flight creating collateral damage? Pretty scary!

Depends on who receives the collateral damage. You could end up getting a twofer.

Yeah, Blue. But you gotta think one of those rounds would tear your ass up if it hit you and it wouldn't matter much where it hit you.

I think they are refering to aim/error of traditional slugs and buckshot.
